I knew I wanted to trek the Annapurna Circuit, and at first, I was planning to do it on my own with my partner. However, he convinced me to get a guide and porter through Madan at Manaslu Guides Nepal, and I am so glad I listened to him.
The guide and porter that Madan arranged for us, Shankar and Manoj, were absolutely wonderful. They had great attitudes, spoke excellent English and shared so many interesting stories and insights about the region. Trekking with them made the whole experience more enjoyable and worry free.
Madan himself was such a pleasure to talk to and over the five months I stayed in Kathmandu, he even became a good friend.
If I ever get the chance to go on another trek in Nepal, Manaslu Guides Nepal will definitely be the first place I visit once I arrive in Kathmandu.
